Through ongoing assessment and evidence-based teaching practices, we identify students who may benefit from additional support and provide targeted intervention to strengthen learning, confidence and wellbeing. 

Equally, students who are ready for greater challenge are encouraged through extension opportunities that deepen their understanding, foster creativity and promote higher-order thinking.

As part of our commitment to supporting the whole child, St Mary's is fortunate to have access to a qualified speech pathologist, Sally Anderson, who works with students requiring additional support in communication, language and literacy development. This valuable service helps ensure students receive the assistance they need to engage confidently in learning and school life.
