We believe that every student has the right to learn in a safe, respectful and supportive environment. Our Student Behaviour Framework is built on our Catholic values and promotes positive relationships, responsibility, inclusion and personal growth.
We take a proactive and restorative approach to student behaviour, focusing on teaching and reinforcing positive behaviours that enable all students to learn and thrive. Students are supported to understand the impact of their actions, take responsibility for their choices and develop the skills needed to build respectful relationships with others.
Our approach is guided by clear expectations and consistent practices across the school. Through collaboration with families, staff and students, we create a culture where respectful behaviour is modelled, celebrated and encouraged. We believe that every child can learn, grow and contribute positively to our school community when supported with care, dignity and understanding.
St Mary's is committed to fostering a learning environment where students feel safe, connected and empowered to achieve their best, both academically and personally.
