There are many ways for parents to be involved in the life of the school.

SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL:

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is an advisory group for the Principal and is an active forum for parent and community participation. It provides support and advice on planning, school improvement, educational outcomes and stewardship of resources. SAC meets regularly throughout each term and has an annual general meeting in November.

PARENTS’ CLUB

Membership of the Parents’ Club is open to all families. The Parents’ Club assists the school in the following ways:

  • Social functions
  • Fund-raising activities
  • Supporting classroom activities by their involvement in school-based programs
  • Special lunches at end of term for students
  • Catering for school and community events etc.

The Annual General Meeting of the Parents’ Club is held in late October/early November each year.
